For counselors-in-training
Know the theory.
Practice the next response.
Role-play with a fictional client who asks for advice, goes quiet, or pushes back. See exactly how your words landed, then rewind and try it another way. Get the awkward first attempts out of the way before practicum.
About 5 minutes. No account. No credit card.
Then three clips free with an account, or $15/month for the full library.
- Fictional clients only
- We don’t train our models on your practice

Text repDenise · fictional client
“I've read all the books. I know the stages. I just want you to tell me what I'm supposed to be doing at four months so I can stop feeling like I'm doing it wrong.”
Your next response
What would you say next?
No multiple choice. Type what you’d actually say, and see how it lands.
§ 01How a rep works
Five minutes. One hard moment. Another try.
- 01
Pick one hard moment.
Each clip is one fictional client and one skill: reflecting feeling, sitting with silence, answering a client who asks what to do.
- 02
Say it your way.
Type what you would actually say. No multiple choice, no script. Text gives you a beat to choose your words, which is the skill you’re building. Stuck? Ask for a hint or rewind a turn.
- 03
See it, then try again.
Get an annotated transcript: what worked, what you missed, and a line to try instead. Then run the moment again.
Fits between classes, before a triad, or the night before your first practicum session.
§ 02Feedback you can check
Feedback tied to what you actually said.
Generic tips don’t help you in the room. SeatTime’s coach annotates your transcript turn by turn, so every suggestion points to a specific line and you can judge it for yourself.
You also see simple counts after each rep: open questions, reflections, and how often you reached for advice. Think a note is wrong? Flag it in one tap. It’s a second set of eyes, not a grade.

Three moments
- A missed opportunity
Marcus: “The court can make me sit here. They can’t make me pretend I’m somebody I’m not.”
You: “You’re frustrated about being here, but part of you knows something has to change.”
The first half is a solid reflection. The “but” turns it into the speech Marcus warned you about: it puts change talk in his mouth that he hasn’t said. Reflect the sustain talk and his autonomy, and stop there.
Try this instead“Coming here was the court’s call. Who you are is still yours.”

Start monthly — $15§ 05Questions
Before your first rep.
Is this therapy or supervision?
No. You play the counselor, and every client is fictional. SeatTime is extra practice alongside your program. It does not provide therapy, supervision, or practicum hours.
Do I need an account or a card?
Not for the demo. A free account gets you three clips with full feedback. You enter a card only if you choose monthly access.
What if the AI feedback is wrong?
Sometimes it will be. Each note points to a specific line, so you can check it against the transcript and what your instructors teach. Tap “This feedback is off” to flag it. The coach is a second set of eyes, not a grade or a judgment of your readiness to see clients.
Is my practice private?
Your transcripts are used to give you feedback and track your progress. We do not use them to train our own models, and we do not sell personal information. AI providers process your text to generate responses; the privacy policy has the details.
Can I use an actual client situation?
No. Use only the fictional scenarios. Never enter real client notes, recordings, or identifying details. SeatTime screens for identifying information and blocks it.
Can I use it for coursework?
Check your program’s rules. SeatTime does not grant course approval or replace assigned practice or supervision.
Can I practice by voice?
Not in this offer. Practice is text-based, which gives you time to shape each response before you send it.
How do cancellation and refunds work?
Cancel monthly renewal in account settings; access continues through your paid period. If your first paid month is not useful, email hello@getmoreseattime.com within 14 days for a full refund. No explanation needed. A full refund ends paid access.
Five minutes from now
Try the response before you need it.
Denise wants you to tell her how to grieve. Giving advice won’t help, and neither will dodging the question. What will you say?
About 5 minutes. No account. No card.
