About
Built by people who think practice should look like practice.

Counseling / clinical background
[Placeholder, ~80 words.] Trained as a counselor, supervised practicum students, and spent years watching capable people freeze in the first silence of a session because nobody had let them rehearse it. Writes the clips, reviews the fictional clients, and owns the rubric calibration work.
[Placeholder.] Holds the line on what SeatTime is not: not therapy, not supervision, and not a replacement for a room with a real person in it.

Built the product
[Placeholder, ~80 words.] Software engineer with a sim-racing habit and an interest in how people actually get good at things. Built the rep loop, the pit wall, and the telemetry, and is responsible for making sure the coach says less rather than more.
[Placeholder.] Believes a practice tool should be as quiet and boring as a well-made textbook supplement, and that the interesting part is what the student does next.
The idea came from sim racing: nobody learns a track by driving full laps. They pick a corner, run it until it’s boring, and look at the data. Counseling training has the theory, the rubric, and the eventual real thing — and almost nothing in between. SeatTime is the in-between.
